Occupational Tax

The City of Duluth welcomes your business to our community. Every business in the City must apply for an Occupational Tax Certificate and renew it annually.

Annual licenses expire on January 30th of each year, and are considered on-time if renewed no later than April 30th.   PENALTIES WILL BE ADDED ON MAY 1ST.

Renewal letters for 2018 Occupational Tax Certificates were mailed by December 30, 2017.  Fillable forms are available once again for the 2018 renewal season. To help you navigate the forms, use your mouse to hover over a field for tips on what type of information to fill in. Once complete, the forms need to be printed, signed and notarized prior to submission.  Should you encounter any difficulties, please email occtax@duluthga.net.
