Absentee Vote by Mail - CITY OF DULUTH MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

To vote absentee by mail, submit an application to the City of Duluth (not to Gwinnett County). The application will be available starting at a date to be determined.  Download and print your ABSENTEE BY MAIL APPLICATION here; hard copies are available in the reception area of City Hall. The completed application may then be returned by mail, turned in directly to City Hall, or scanned/emailed to elections@duluthga.net. 

Once you have submitted an application and it has been approved, you will be mailed an absentee ballot package. This includes a ballot for selecting your candidate, a ballot privacy envelope, an OATH envelope, and INSTRUCTIONS on how to complete and return the ballot. It is very important to follow the steps exactly as outlined in the instructions in order for your ballot to be counted, paying special attention, and reading the OATH envelope carefully. Absentee by mail ballots will be mailed starting at a date to be determined.

Ballots may be returned by the following options:

1). By mail (in the pre-addressed envelope) - include enough postage
2). Via dropbox, open in the City Hall lobby, date to be determined, 9:00am to 5:00pm (includes two (2) Saturdays)
3). In person - by the voter or authorized handler ONLY - to the Absentee Ballot Clerk at City Hall, dates to be determined.

Ausente Por Correo - ELECCIONES MUNICIPALES DE LA CIUDAD DE DULUTH

Para votar en ausencia por correo, entregue una solicitud a la Ciudad de Duluth (no el condado de Gwinnett) para que se le envíe una boleta. Puede encontrar la solicitud aquí SOLICITUD PARA VOTAR EN AUSENCIA, también habrá copias disponibles en el ayuntamiento.
Puede enviarla por correo a 3167 Main St. Duluth, GA 30096, entréguela directamente al ayuntamiento o enviarla por correo electrónico a elections@duluthga.net. Las solicitudes estarán disponibles a partir en una fecha aún no por determinara así como la fecha límite para solicitar una solicitud de boleta de voto ausente por correo.

Una vez que haya enviado una solicitud y haya sido aprobada, se le enviará por correo un paquete de boleta de voto en ausencia. Esto incluye una boleta para seleccionar a su candidato, un sobre de privacidad de la boleta, un sobre de JURAMENTO y INSTRUCCIONES sobre cómo completar y devolver la boleta. Es muy importante seguir los pasos exactamente como describen en las instrucciones para que su boleta cuente, prestando mucha atención y leyendo atentamente el sobre de OATH.

Las boletas pueden devolverse mediante las siguientes opciones:

1). Por correo (en el sobre con la dirección previa): asegúrese de incluir suficiente franqueo.
2). A través de buzón de entrega, abierto en el vestíbulo del Ayuntamiento, durante una fecha aún no por determinara de, 9:00am a 5:00pm.
3). En persona, SOLAMENTE por el votante o el administrador autorizado, al secretario de boletas ausentes en el ayuntamiento, en una fecha aún no por determinara de 9:00am a 5:00pm (excluyendo los sábados) y asta las 7:00pm del día de las elecciones.
