Here are some simple habits to reduce your water usage:
- Turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth.
- Only run the dishwasher and clothes washer when you have a full load.
- Check your faucets and toilets for leaks and fix them as soon as possible. Did you know?! A leaky toilet can waste hundreds of gallons of water every day!
- Water your garden in the morning or evening when the temperatures are low to reduce evaporation. Choose native plants that are adapted to rainfall patterns in our region.
