Deputy Chief Mark Hunter

Deputy Chief Hunter_08012022 - Copy (2)Deputy Chief Mark Hunter was born in Georgia and has lived in Georgia all his life. After entering law enforcement in 1986, he graduated from the police academy as the Honor Graduate of his class.

Deputy Chief Hunter joined the City of Duluth Police Department in 1989; and has served in the Uniform Division and as the Division Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division before being appointed to Deputy Chief in 2022. Deputy Chief Hunter is certified by Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training as an Instructor and specializes in Constitutional Law.
