Support Services Division

Captain Charles "Chuck" Wilson. Captain Wilson has been with the Duluth Police since July of 1997. He has worked in the Uniform Patrol, COPS, and Bike Patrol.  Capt. Wilson has served as a Uniform Division Corporal and Sergeant before being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, then Captain, and being named as the Support Services Division Commander where he currently serves.

Capt. Wilson manages the operations of the Records Department, Court Security, Dispatch, Property/Evidence Storage, Crime Scene, Armory/Weapons issuance, Public Information Office, Facilities Maintenance as well as serves as a training officer.  Additional duties that Capt. Wilson provides are project management for the CAD/RMS system, implementation/purchasing of new technology, and maintenance and upkeep of in-car computers and other police-specific software systems.
