The City of Duluth Benefits Plan is a comprehensive fringe benefit package for all full-time employees. The package is designed by the benefits broker, executive staff, Human Resources, Employee Benefits & Audit Committee, and Mayor and City Council.

Retirement Benefits

One America Booklet - 457b/457Roth employee contributions, plus 401a city match up to 2%. The vesting on the 401a match is at 5 years of service.

GMEBS Retirement - The city funds this pension account, vesting is at 5 years of service.

POAB Retirement (Sworn Police & Dispatch Only) - The city pays membership fees.

Aflac - voluntary benefit, employee pays for selected policies
