Street Sweeping
Street sweeping is intended to pick up debris that has naturally accumulated in curbs and gutters over the winter. Please do not blow leaves or yard clippings into the street. Doing so is a violation of the City of Duluth Municipal Code. Residents living in the City limits are permitted to bring yard debris to the dumpsters at the Public Works Complex. Plant clippings, leaves and other plant material can also be composted.
Did you know?! The Fall 2021 City Street Sweep collected more than 24 TONS of dirt and debris and kept it out of our waterways! That's the equivalent of two school buses, or five elephants!
