The men and women of our department are committed to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens in our community by protecting and serving with fairness, courtesy, and respect.
We believe Duluth’s greatest asset is its people, so we continually strive to build and strengthen relationships with those we serve. The Duluth Police Department offers several programs aimed at engaging those who are interested in learning about their police department or how they can take an active part in the safety of their own community. We encourage you to learn more about those programs and perhaps enroll in one of the citizens' police academy classes available throughout the year.
